we've been following/stalking Glossier since it launched. we grew up reading Into The Gloss. since we're a bit nosey, we loved peeking inside our favourite fashion icons and celebrities medicine cabinets (sorry not sorry, but Top Shelf is still our not-so-guilty pleasure.) once we heard that founder Emily Weiss was launching a beauty brand, we couldn't contain our excitement.
fast forward a few years and lots of abandoned carts (since they didn't ship to Canada), Glossier is finally here!
one thing we've always appreciated about Glossier is their authenticity. their community-based approach to makeup and beauty products is completely new and super transparent. they're active on social media (they actually reply! even to stories!) and are trying to transform the beauty industry, one great product at a time.
and also, can we talk about the packaging?!source: http://thebeautylookbook.com/2016/05/glossier-balm-dotcom-universal-skin-salve-rose-cherry-mint-coconut.html
so, what are the three products currently sitting in our cart?
1. Boy Brow
the tagline here: "replace your brow gel". why yes, i would! the concept of Boy Brow is that ALL brow needs have been considered to create ONE brow product: thicken, fill in, and groom brows into place. i don't know about you but i'd rather have one great product than three to accomplish the same result. (i also don't have that much counter space tbh.)
2. Milky Jelly Cleaner
if the name isn't encouraging enough, the promise of dissolving make-up and grime gently sure is. we love gentle but hard-working products that multitask, making this gem a real life saver.
3. Moon Mask
last but not least, the Moisturizing Moon Mask is all about hydrating the skin. also, the packaging is super adorable and we'd probably keep it on display without hesitation.
with ingredients like sweet almond oil, plant-based squalane, and hyaluronic acid, the skin appears visibly plump with hydration, helping to smooth the appearance of fine lines and restore elasticity.
your basket wouldn't be completed without Balm Dotcom.
